Hi, I’m angela de los santos.

I bring a deep, personal understanding of resilience and transformation to my work, shaped by my own childhood experiences with poverty, abuse, addiction, and homelessness. These early challenges fueled my passion for building systems that create opportunity, equity, and lasting impact.

My career began with a focus on individuals and families, earning a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. As a caseworker, I saw firsthand how education can be a powerful force for change—not just for students, but for entire communities. This realization led me to pursue a Master of Education and shift my focus to policy and governance, helping school leaders craft solutions that foster thriving classrooms and communities.

My experience

Over the years, I’ve worked with hundreds of school boards and administrators, refining processes to make policy development more accessible, efficient, and impactful. My work at BoardDocs allowed me to revolutionize governance practices—saving districts time, money, and resources while enhancing policy transparency and engagement.

My commitment to improving systems led me to the Harvard Kennedy School, where I earned a Public Leadership Credential in policy development, strategic management, and ethical decision-making. With this expertise, I continue to help education and community leaders navigate complex governance landscapes, ensuring their work leads to real, measurable outcomes.

Now, through my consulting practice, I support those who shape our schools and communities—offering strategic guidance, innovative solutions, and a deep commitment to equity and sustainable impact.
